Fourth of July Committee announces 2008 Theme The Campbellsville-Taylor County Fourth of July Celebration Committee has announced the theme for the 2008 celebration will be “Celebrating the Life of Lincoln.” The theme is a natural tie-in with the national 200th Anniversary Commemoration of the birth of Abraham Lincoln now underway. “Celebrating the Life of Lincoln” will also be the theme for the annual Taylor County Bank Parade. Everyone is invited to participate in the parade on July 4th. All area civic, school, and church groups, businesses and individuals are encouraged to develop and enter a float in the AutoSmart Float Contest using this year’s theme. First Place prize money is $500, second place $150 and $100 for third. More information about the 33rd Annual Campbellsville-Taylor County Fourth of July Celebration is available on the web at www.campbellsvillefourthofjuly.com.
