As we prepare to celebrate America 250 and 50 years of Fourth of July traditions in our community, this year’s theme is a reminder of what makes hometown celebrations so special.

For 50 years, Campbellsville and Taylor County have come together to celebrate faith, freedom, family, and country. This year’s celebration will honor our past while looking ahead to the future as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday together.
Stay Well 5K
Take to the streets and run like fire at the Stay Well 5K/10! This annual road race is always a fun and active way to get out and enjoy the celebration by yourself or with friends and family. Lots of runners gear up for the challenge, whether it be a 10K run or a 5K jog through the heart of our community.

Hot air balloons are our Fourth of July tradition. Join the crowds and watch giant balloons inflate and light up the summer night sky at the Murakami Hot Air Balloon Glow. On top of that, watch in awe as the balloons inflate and take to the skies at the Tom McClendon Memorial Lift-Off.
