29th Annual Colgate Country Showdown

The “29th Annual Colgate Country Showdown” is coming to the annual Campbellsville-Taylor County Fourth of July Celebration. K-Country will again host America’s largest country music talent search on the Fourth of July Celebration Main Stage Friday July 2nd at 7:30 p.m.


Approximately $200,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded nationwide, including the Grand Prize of $100,000 cash to the National Winner, presented at the National Final televised special.

K-Country is one of over 500 local radio stations across the country to sponsor a Colgate Country Showdown local competition. Local winners advance to over forty state contests and the opportunity to compete at one of five regional contests in the fall. The five regional winners receive an expense-paid trip to the National Final.

Open to vocal and/or instrumental performers, the Colgate Country Showdown welcomes individual acts or groups with up to seven members to compete. A $15 entry fee is required of all acts entering the Colgate Country Showdown. For complete entry information, log on to www.kcountry105.7com
